How to connect Contentful, and what agents can change there

Before you start#
Your website must show the fields
SEOmatic fills in fields in your Contentful entries. Google only sees an SEO title, canonical or noindex if your website's code reads that field. Check with your developer before you rely on it.
Find your Space ID in Contentful under Settings, General settings. The environment is usually master.
Connect Contentful#
- In SEOmatic, on the Contentful row, click Add Connection.
- Type your Space ID and Environment, then click Connect with Contentful and approve.
- Back on Connections, the card says Choose where agent articles go. Click it and pick the content type for blog posts.
Space in the EU data region? Paste a token instead: in Contentful, open Settings, CMA tokens, click Generate personal token, and paste it under or paste a CMA token. Then match the fields in Map Blog Fields and click Confirm Mapping.
What your agents can change on Contentful#

Free plan: 100,000 API calls a month
Contentful's free plan has a hard cap of 100,000 API calls a month, shared by all its APIs, your website's included. SEOmatic's reads and writes count toward it.
Fix connection errors#
