What's new in SEOmatic

Hear back on the ideas you care about, tell us what you think of each release, and get an email when we ship.

• Follow a request

Vote, comment or press Follow on a request, and you get an email when someone comments or its status moves forward.

• React and comment on releases

Each release in What's new now has emoji reactions and comments, so you can tell us what landed well.

• One email per release

Subscribe on the changelog and get an email each time we ship. Confirm once, unsubscribe in one click.

• The roadmap by quarter or month

See the roadmap as a board, by quarter or by month, to know what shipped when and what is planned next.

The feedback button in the app now asks what kind of message you have, shows ideas like yours before you post, and lets you attach a screenshot you can mark up.

• Pick what it is

Feature request, bug, feedback, integration or question. Press 1 to 5 to pick one fast.

• See similar ideas first

As you type a title, matching posts appear, so you can vote for one instead of posting twice.

• Screenshots you can mark up

Take a screenshot of the page, then highlight, draw, add a note or hide anything private before you send it.

• Private screenshots

Only you and the SEOmatic team can see your screenshot. Your post stays public so others can vote for it.

SEOmatic now checks a live change again a week later and tells you if your page was edited since. Setup ends with one drafted fix you can read and approve. Rewrites stay in your page's language, and internal links are placed from more of your pages.

• Your first fix at the end of setup

Setup now ends with one real change drafted for your site, with the exact before and after. Read it, approve it or dismiss it. Nothing goes live until you say so.

• A second look a week later

A change that went live is checked again seven days on. If your page shows something else by then, the card says it was edited after our change, and we count no result for it.

• Rewrites in your page's language

A title or description written in a different language from the page is held for your review instead of going live.

• Internal links from more of your pages

When placing a link, the agent now reads up to 25 of your pages, not 10, until it finds enough sentences that fit. More links land on their own.

• Your market, read from your pages

The country and language your agents plan for now come from the text of your pages, not from menus or footers, and a language declared on the page is respected.

Agencies can now send branded reports from their own domain, give clients a private portal, and fix SEO directly in GitHub repos. Slack controls and WordPress agent powers also grew.

• Branded client portals and reports

Agencies can invite clients to a portal with the agency's own logo, colors and domain. Clients see only their reports, not your dashboard. Invite emails carry the agency brand too.

• GitHub code fixes for Next.js, Astro and ASP.NET

Agents now open pull requests that fix redirects, image descriptions, page titles and social tags right in the code. Works for Next.js, Astro and ASP.NET Core sites.

• One-click store redirects on Shopify and BigCommerce

From the task card or Slack, approve a 301 redirect and the agent proves it is live. Undo any redirect by its ID if you change your mind.

• Run agents from Slack

Turn agents on or off, change mode, run a plan now, set budget and safety rules, undo work, and approve held changes, all from Slack threads and slash commands.

• WordPress agents fix more live

Agents now execute redirects, robots rules, image alt text, social fields and page markup live on WordPress, and prove each change is really there.

• Monthly and weekly reports avoid Google's lag

White-label reports now send on the 4th of the month and on Wednesdays, so Google's two to three day data lag never cuts off the period shown.

Ideas, votes, the roadmap and release notes now live in SEOmatic itself. Suggest a feature, see where it stands, and hear when it ships.

• Suggest and vote on ideas

Post an idea or vote for one you want, right from the app.

• A public roadmap

See what we are building now, what comes next and what just shipped, at seomatic.ai/roadmap.

• What's new, inside the app

A short note in the app shows each new release once. Close it and it stays closed until the next one.

• Follow an idea to release

When an idea makes the roadmap, its post on the board says so. You can watch it go from request to release.

Unless you chose Approval mode, fixes that can be undone now go live without waiting for you. Each day, one email lists them with an Undo link. A new help center explains every part of SEOmatic.

• Safe fixes ship without a click

Titles, descriptions, links, page markup for Google and refreshed text go live once they pass our checks. Redirects, removals and new page sets still wait for your yes.

• One daily email, with Undo

Every day, one email lists what your agents changed on their own. Each change has a one-click Undo.

• Same rules everywhere

Approving from email, Slack, the chat or the board works the same way. When something is on hold, you see why.

• Keep agents off a topic

Mark a page “Don't touch this topic” and the agents won't plan work on it.

• A help center

seomatic.ai/help explains every feature in plain steps, with search. Every Learn more link in the app now opens it.

• Small things you asked for

Switch your Search Console property in Settings. Stop a Copilot run and pay only for the work it did.

Agencies can now invite clients to approve changes on their own site, and get one weekly email that covers every client.

• Client approvals

Invite a client as a viewer or an approver. They only see their own site, and you can remove access any time.

• One weekly email for all clients

See what needs you, what went live and what it earned, across every client site.

• Approve all at once

Approve every ready card in the Needs you column with one click.

• Changes that stay put

Every week the agents re-check live changes. If your website quietly undid one, they put it back and mark it Returned.

• Location pages that match your site

New location pages copy the layout of a page you pick, and arrive as WordPress drafts for you to check.

• More from your store

Wix stores now get product SEO, and the Shopify home page gets copy-paste steps.

A change only counts once SEOmatic has seen it on your live page. Cards tell you what will change and whether it can run, and the agents stop suggesting work that won't pay off.

• A Live column

A new column lists only the changes we have checked on your page. Emails and Slack count only those.

• Cards that say what happens

Each card shows the exact change, whether it can run now, and a preview of how your page will look in Google.

• Read and edit drafts first

Every content task links to its draft, so you can read and edit it before it goes live.

• Undo you can trust

Undo turns a published article back into a draft. It only appears where it really works.

• Fewer, better suggestions

No new page for a search you already rank top 10 for, and no forecast without real data behind it.

• Connection problems become a task

If a connection points at the wrong site or is missing a permission, Needs you tells you the one thing to fix.

If your site is built from a GitHub repository, like most Next.js and Astro sites, the agents now send their fixes as pull requests you merge. And every decision can now be made from Slack.

• GitHub connection

Connect a repository and the agents propose titles, redirects, image descriptions, sitemaps, new blog posts and more. You review and merge.

• Everything from Slack

Approve any change from Slack, even risky ones like redirects, with a confirm step. Ask the SEOmatic assistant questions there too.

• One clear first fix

New sites start with a single, clearly explained first fix instead of a long list.

• Fixes without a connection

If your website isn't connected, each fix arrives ready to copy and paste.

• Pick your AI engines

Scans now cover ChatGPT, Claude and Google AI Overviews by default. Turn on Perplexity and others in one click.

Agents now work on every part of a BigCommerce store, and your inbox gets one weekly summary instead of many separate emails.

• Your whole BigCommerce store

Agents improve blog posts, pages, categories, brands and products. They change SEO titles without renaming your products.

• One weekly email

One email each week shows what went live and what it earned. The separate email for each article is gone.

• Receipts and refunds

Receipts and refund confirmations now arrive by email.

• Know when something disconnects

We tell you when Google Analytics, Google Ads, Business Profile or Slack loses access, and when a new device signs in.
