How It Works, Step by Step
- You ask ChatGPT about your site.
- ChatGPT calls SEOmatic's tools on your connected workspace: Search Console performance, insights like CTR outliers and cannibalization, page analysis or your AI visibility results.

Plans and upgrades are handled on seomatic.ai, never inside ChatGPT. When you reach the free limit, ChatGPT tells you so and points you to the plans page.
How to Connect SEOmatic to ChatGPT
ChatGPT adds SEOmatic through Developer mode connectors. It takes about two minutes.
- Turn on Developer mode. In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps, then Advanced settings, and enable Developer mode.
- Create the connector. Open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Create. Name it SEOmatic and use the URL https://app.seomatic.ai/api/mcp.
- Sign in with OAuth. Choose OAuth, then sign in or create a free SEOmatic account and approve access on the SEOmatic consent screen.
- Enable it in a new chat. Start a new chat, open the tools menu and make sure SEOmatic is enabled for that conversation.
- Ask your first question. Try “Summarize my Search Console performance for the last 28 days.”

Nothing Changes on Your Site Without Your Approval
