The daily email of changes your agents made on their own
Updated
What the email contains#
- A subject such as 3 changes live on your site, each one undoable.
- One line per change: what your agent did and on which page, followed by Undo.
- If you have several sites, the changes are grouped under each site's name, in one email.
- Up to 25 lines. If there are more, the email says how many, and each one has its own undo on your board.
- A See everything on your board button that opens the AI Agents board.
Which changes are listed#
- Only changes your agents made on their own, without anyone's click. Changes you or a teammate approved are not listed.
- Only changes SEOmatic has seen on your live page. A change still waiting for that check comes in a later email.
- Each change appears in one email only. A change that was already undone, or that never showed on your page, is left out.
- No changes, no email.
Which changes your agents may make on their own depends on your mode. See approval modes. In Approval mode, most days have nothing to list: only follow-up work, such as links your agents add to a new article you approved, can appear.
Undo a change from the email#
- Click Undo next to the change. A page titled Undo a change opens. Sign in first if SEOmatic asks you to.
- Check the task and the page address shown, then click Undo this change.
- If someone edited the page after your agent did, SEOmatic shows what is on the page now and asks before overwriting it. Click Undo anyway only if you want the old version back.
- When it is done, the page says Restored. Your page is back. You can close the tab.
- Who can undo. Members, Admins and the Owner of the workspace. A Viewer sees Your role in this workspace can view changes but not undo them.
- GitHub sites. The undo opens a pull request. Merge it on GitHub to put the page back.
- New articles. Undo turns the article back into a draft on WordPress, Shopify, Ghost, Webflow, BigCommerce, Contentful and Blogger. On other platforms, unpublish it in your platform.
- No time limit. The link keeps working for as long as the change is on your site. You can also undo the same change later from the Live on your site list on the board.
- Can I turn this email off?
- Not in Email preferences. It tells you what changed on your own site, so it is a service notice, like an account email. If you would rather approve every change yourself, switch the workspace to Approval mode in Settings > AI Agents and click Save.
- Who receives it?
- The owner of each workspace. Teammates can see the same changes on the AI Agents board and in the Live feed.
- When does it arrive?
- Once a day, in the late afternoon in Europe (17:00 UTC), on days when there is something to list.
