The Needs you list: the decisions waiting on you

Click the bell at the top of any dashboard page. The Needs you list shows every decision blocking your agents, most urgent first: results that got worse, paused campaigns, connection problems, held changes, then approvals. Click a row to jump straight to it.
Open the list#
- Click the bell icon at the top right of any dashboard page. A dot with a number shows how many decisions wait.
- Read the rows. Each one names the task or campaign and says what it needs.
- Click a row. SEOmatic opens the right place: the task on the AI Agents board, Connections for a connection problem, or your settings for a question about your business.
When nothing waits, the list says Nothing is waiting on you. The list covers every workspace in your account and adds the workspace name when you have several. Clicking a row switches to that workspace for you.
What each row means#

A held row is not always yours to fix
Sometimes a task paused by a temporary problem on our side also shows as Work is ready, held for your approval. Open it: if its status says it was paused by a temporary issue on our side, there is nothing to do. It retries on its own.
Why the bell and the board show different numbers#
- The bell folds proposals blocked by the same setup problem into one row. The board counts each card.
- The bell leaves out work your agents will make on their own. The board still shows those cards in its Needs you column until they run.
- A proposed campaign counts once in the bell, whatever the number of tasks inside it.
- The bell covers all your workspaces. The board shows one.
- The bell shows up to 30 rows, then Showing the first 30. The board has the rest.
The bell refreshes every minute. The board refreshes every 15 seconds.
Clear it fast#
- Fix setup rows first. One fix (connecting your site, adding credits) unblocks many proposals.
- On the board, the Needs you column header shows a line such as 3 changes going live on their own today, 2 wait for your yes, and a button such as Approve 2 that approves the small fixes waiting for you in one click.
- In Approval mode every change lands here. In Assisted or Auto, changes you can undo go live on their own and only the rest waits for you. See approval modes.
