How many websites your plan includes#

A trial includes the workspaces of the plan you picked. Extra workspaces can be bought once the trial becomes a paid plan. All workspaces share your account's credits and team.
Create a workspace#
- In the sidebar, click Settings, then the Workspaces tab.
- Click Create workspace.
- Type a name of 3 to 50 characters, such as the client's name or domain, and click Create Workspace.
- Open the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar and pick the new workspace. It is not selected for you.
- Connect its website in Connections and its Search Console property. See connect your website.
Owners and Admins can create workspaces. If you have no workspaces left, the same button opens an offer to add one, described below.
Add an extra workspace#
- In Settings, open the Plans tab and scroll to Add-ons.
- In Client workspaces, click the plus button next to Extra workspaces.
- Check Due today. You pay a prorated amount for the rest of this billing period, then $39 a month per extra workspace from your next renewal.
- Click Confirm & add. When you see Your workspaces are updated., create the workspace as shown above.
Faster: click Create workspace when you are at your limit. The offer shows the amount and a button Add workspace and pay {amount}. Once paid, you see Workspace added. Now name it. and the workspace is created with the name you give it.
- Each extra workspace adds 1,000,000 AI credits a month to your pool. For the month you buy it, the credits are prorated like the price.
- On yearly plans, the add-on is billed yearly too.
- Nothing is added if your bank declines or asks to confirm the payment. Follow the steps on screen, then try again.
Who can buy, and when
Only the account owner can buy extra workspaces. Admins see the price with The owner can add another. Extra workspaces are not available during a trial, while your plan is paused, while a payment is failing, or on Infrastructure.
Looking in Billing?
Some messages, including the workspace limit message and SEO Copilot, say to add a workspace in Settings > Billing. The control is in Settings > Plans > Add-ons.
Remove an extra workspace#
- In Settings > Plans > Add-ons, click the minus button next to Extra workspaces.
- Click Confirm change.
- Nothing is charged or refunded today. The workspace keeps working, with its credits, until your next renewal. From then your bill is lower.
- Changed your mind before the renewal? Adding it back costs nothing.
- Removing an add-on never deletes a workspace. If you then have more workspaces than your limit, they all keep working, but you cannot create new ones.
- Deleting a workspace does not lower your bill. Remove the add-on here as well.
When a bigger plan costs less#
If you need several extra workspaces, the next plan up can be cheaper. The offer tells you when, for example From your 3rd extra workspace, Scale costs less. Compare on the pricing page, and see change your plan.
- Can one workspace hold two websites?
- No. Each workspace connects to one website. A second site needs a second workspace.
- Do my teammates see the new workspace?
- Yes. Everyone on your team sees every workspace. To give a client access to only their own site, see run client sites from one account.
