Inside the SEO Approval Workflow Skill
The Short Answer
The SEOmatic approval workflow skill teaches an AI agent to run SEOmatic's approve-first loop from chat: list staged proposals, show each one with what will change and why, record your approve or dismiss decision, watch approved changes go live, report from the evidence what actually changed, and roll back a change you are not happy with. Changes that could remove a page from Google need an extra confirmation. The agent never approves on your behalf.

By default, nothing changes on your site until you approve it. A fix is staged as a proposal that says what will change and why. Approved fixes run within seconds, the page's previous state is stored, and any edit to an existing page can be rolled back. A rollback refuses to overwrite edits someone made since. Changes that could take a page out of Google, like a noindex, need an extra confirmation.

Can the agent approve changes by itself?
No. The agent only records a decision you made in the conversation. Approving always stays with you.
What if someone edited the page after SEOmatic's change?
A rollback checks for that and refuses to overwrite a newer edit unless you explicitly confirm it.
