Claude Cowork is built for work that runs without you watching, so it suits a recurring check on your Wix site: compare your blog posts, pages and products against Search Console every week, speak up only when something moved, and stage the fix. Nothing reaches Wix until you approve it, and SEOmatic writes it through the SEOmatic Wix app.
You: Every Monday, check my Wix site and flag pages that lose clicks.
Claude Cowork: This week's check: from Sep 13 to Oct 10 (28 days), /post/leaky-faucet-repair had 2,210 impressions and 19 clicks at position 8.1 for "leaky faucet repair". That is a low click rate for page one, so the title is the first thing to test: it reads "Leaky Faucet". I staged a new title, "Leaky Faucet Repair: Fix a Drip in 15 Minutes", to be written to the post's SEO title in Wix. It waits for your approval, and I will report the verdict once the change has had time to settle.

In SEOmatic, go to Connections, select Wix and click Connect with Wix. Approve the SEOmatic app's permissions on Wix. (Prefer an API key? Generate one on your Wix account API Keys page with Manage Blog, Manage Ricos Document and Manage SEO Settings, and paste it with your site URL and Site ID instead.) The full walkthrough, with every screen, is on the Wix integration page.
In the Claude desktop app, open the Cowork tab, then Customize, then Connectors. Click the plus button, add a custom connector named SEOmatic with this URL, and sign in to SEOmatic.

Paste any of these into Claude Cowork. It answers from your data and stages the fix; you approve it before it reaches Wix.
More that work well in Claude Cowork:
After you approve, SEOmatic writes the change through the SEOmatic Wix app and checks that it is live. Then it measures the result against the page's own baseline and your site's trend: 14 days after a title change, 28 after a content refresh, 90 after a new page. Each change is marked verified, ineffective or regressed, and a low-risk change that loses traffic is rolled back on its own. Ask Claude Cowork "Did my Wix title changes work?" and it answers from those verdicts.
Full blog posts with cover images, excerpts, categories, tags and author. On posts already published: title, description and slug fixes, and body rewrites written into the post itself.
A title or description change sends only that field, so the body of your post is never rewritten or reflowed.
Wix replaces the whole SEO block on write, so agents merge into what is there instead of wiping your canonical and OG tags.
Wix stores post bodies in its own rich-text format rather than HTML, which makes careless edits easy to get wrong. Agents change precisely the field they mean to and leave everything else alone.
Every field, limit and safeguard is on the Wix integration page.
Wix
A Wix site on a paid plan with site owner or admin access. You install the SEOmatic app and approve its permissions on Wix's own screen. An API key with Manage Blog, Manage Ricos Document and Manage SEO Settings (plus Data and Products for collections and store items) still works if you prefer one.
Claude Cowork
The Claude desktop app on a paid Claude plan with Cowork, and a free SEOmatic account, which you can create during the connect step. No terminal, no API key.
Claude Cowork works the same way on WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Ghost, Blogger, Squarespace, Framer, Drupal, BigCommerce, HubSpot CMS, Contentful, Strapi, Sanity, Next.js, Lovable, GitHub, Craft CMS.
Can Claude Cowork fix SEO on my Wix site?
Yes, through SEOmatic. Claude Cowork reads your Search Console data, finds the blog posts, pages and products losing clicks and stages the fix, which SEOmatic writes to Wix once you approve. The three setup steps are on this page.
What can Claude Cowork change on Wix?
SEOmatic works on your blog posts, pages and products through the SEOmatic Wix app: titles, descriptions and content first, and more where Wix allows it. Every field and limit is listed on the Wix integration page.
How do I know if a Wix fix worked?
SEOmatic measures every change it ships against the page's own baseline and your site's trend, 14 days after a title change, 28 after a content refresh and 90 after a new page, and marks it verified, ineffective or regressed. Claude Cowork can read those verdicts for you.
What do I need on the Claude Cowork side?
The Claude desktop app on a paid Claude plan with Cowork, and a free SEOmatic account, which you can create during the connect step. No terminal, no API key.
Will Claude Cowork publish to Wix without asking?
No. By default every change SEOmatic proposes waits for your approval before it touches your site, and your assistant is told never to approve on its own. Approved changes are stored with the page's previous state, so any edit to an existing page can be rolled back. If you later want low-risk fixes to go ahead on their own, you can turn that on in your autonomy settings; changes to your URLs or indexing, and new content, still wait for you.
Is it free?
Connecting is free with no card. Search Console reports, page checks and 30-page site audits are free, as often as you like; live market data uses free questions, 5 a month plus a one-time 10 when you connect Search Console. Staging and publishing fixes is part of paid plans, which start with a 14-day free trial.
