Perplexity Computer is built for work that runs without you watching, so it suits a recurring check on your Framer site: compare your CMS collection items against Search Console every week, speak up only when something moved, and stage the fix. In Approval mode nothing reaches Framer until you approve it, and SEOmatic writes it through the Framer Server API.
You: Every Monday, check my Framer site and flag pages that lose clicks.
Perplexity Computer: This week's check: from Sep 13 to Oct 10 (28 days), /blog/garbage-disposal-repair had 1,330 impressions and 11 clicks at position 8.8 for "garbage disposal repair". That is a low click rate for page one, so the title is the first thing to test: it reads "Garbage Disposal". I staged a new title, "Garbage Disposal Repair: 6 Fixes Before You Replace It", to be written to the SEO title field of that CMS item. It waits for your approval, and I will report the verdict once the change has had time to settle.
An example on a demo site; your numbers come from your own Search Console.
In Framer, open Project Settings, go to the General tab and copy your API Key. You will also need your project URL from the address bar. In SEOmatic, go to Connections and select Framer. Paste the project URL, your site URL and the API key, then pick the collection to work in. The full walkthrough, with every screen, is on the Framer integration page.
In Perplexity, open Plugins in the sidebar (Customize, then Connectors on the older UI), choose Add custom, then Add MCP connector, and pick Remote. Name it SEOmatic and paste this URL. Under Advanced, pick OAuth and Streamable HTTP. Tick the acknowledgement, select Add, then select the SEOmatic card to sign in.

Paste any of these into Perplexity Computer. It answers from your data and stages the fix; you approve it before it reaches Framer.
More that work well in Perplexity Computer:
After you approve, SEOmatic writes the change through the Framer Server API and checks that it is live. Then it measures the result against the page's own baseline and your site's trend: 14 days after a title change, 28 after a content refresh, 90 after a new page. Each change is marked verified, ineffective or regressed, and a low-risk change that loses traffic is rolled back on its own. Ask Perplexity Computer "Did my Framer title changes work?" and it answers from those verdicts.
Body content, titles and slugs, written into your Framer CMS collections and updated in place afterwards.
The agent arrives switched off. Once on, it ships undoable fixes by itself and waits for you on anything larger, unless you choose Approval mode, where every change waits.
Framer silently ignores writes to editor-editable fields. Agents detect those and report them as pending, never as done.
Framer's API reaches CMS collections and nothing else, and it quietly ignores writes to fields your team marked as editable in the editor. Agents work within both limits and tell you when something did not land.
Every field, limit and safeguard is on the Framer integration page.
Framer
A Framer project with Editor or Owner access and the Framer Server API (Beta) enabled in project settings. Your content needs to live in a CMS collection, since that is the only part of a Framer site the API can reach.
Perplexity Computer
A Perplexity Pro or Max plan, which includes Computer, and a free SEOmatic account. On an organization plan, an admin must turn on Allow members to add custom connectors first; it is off by default.
Perplexity Computer works the same way on WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Ghost, Blogger, Wix, Squarespace, Drupal, BigCommerce, HubSpot CMS, Contentful, Strapi, Sanity, Next.js, Lovable, GitHub, Craft CMS.
Can Perplexity Computer fix SEO on my Framer site?
Yes, through SEOmatic. Perplexity Computer reads your Search Console data, finds the CMS collection items losing clicks and stages the fix, which SEOmatic writes to Framer once you approve. The three setup steps are on this page.
What can Perplexity Computer change on Framer?
SEOmatic works on your CMS collection items through the Framer Server API: titles, descriptions and content first, and more where Framer allows it. Every field and limit is listed on the Framer integration page.
How do I know if a Framer fix worked?
SEOmatic measures every change it ships against the page's own baseline and your site's trend, 14 days after a title change, 28 after a content refresh and 90 after a new page, and marks it verified, ineffective or regressed. Perplexity Computer can read those verdicts for you.
What do I need on the Perplexity Computer side?
A Perplexity Pro or Max plan, which includes Computer, and a free SEOmatic account. On an organization plan, an admin must turn on Allow members to add custom connectors first; it is off by default.
Will Perplexity Computer publish to Framer without asking?
No. By default every change SEOmatic proposes waits for your approval before it touches your site, and your assistant is told never to approve on its own. Approved changes are stored with the page's previous state, so any edit to an existing page can be rolled back. If you later want low-risk fixes to go ahead on their own, you can turn that on in your autonomy settings; changes to your URLs or indexing, and new content, still wait for you.
Is it free?
Connecting is free with no card. Search Console reports, page checks and 30-page site audits are free, as often as you like; live market data uses free questions, 5 a month plus a one-time 10 when you connect Search Console. Staging and publishing fixes is part of paid plans, which start with a 14-Day Trial for $1, credited to your first payment.
