Perplexity Computer is built for work that runs without you watching, so it suits a recurring check on your Craft CMS site: compare your entries against Search Console every week, speak up only when something moved, and stage the fix. In Approval mode nothing reaches Craft CMS until you approve it, and SEOmatic writes it through Craft's GraphQL API.
You: Every Monday, check my Craft CMS site and flag pages that lose clicks.
Perplexity Computer: This week's check: from Sep 13 to Oct 10 (28 days), /services/repiping had 1,120 impressions and 9 clicks at position 8.0 for "whole house repiping cost". That is a low click rate for page one, so the title is the first thing to test: it reads "Repiping". I staged a new title, "Whole House Repiping Cost and Timeline", to be written to the entry's SEO title field. It waits for your approval, and I will report the verdict once the change has had time to settle.
An example on a demo site; your numbers come from your own Search Console.
In your Craft control panel, go to GraphQL, then Tokens, click New token, and select a schema with access to your sections. Copy the token. In SEOmatic, go to Connections, select Craft CMS, and enter your site domain and the token. SEOmatic finds your GraphQL endpoint and validates the connection. The full walkthrough, with every screen, is on the Craft CMS integration page.
In Perplexity, open Plugins in the sidebar (Customize, then Connectors on the older UI), choose Add custom, then Add MCP connector, and pick Remote. Name it SEOmatic and paste this URL. Under Advanced, pick OAuth and Streamable HTTP. Tick the acknowledgement, select Add, then select the SEOmatic card to sign in.

Paste any of these into Perplexity Computer. It answers from your data and stages the fix; you approve it before it reaches Craft CMS.
More that work well in Perplexity Computer:
After you approve, SEOmatic writes the change through Craft's GraphQL API and checks that it is live. Then it measures the result against the page's own baseline and your site's trend: 14 days after a title change, 28 after a content refresh, 90 after a new page. Each change is marked verified, ineffective or regressed, and a low-risk change that loses traffic is rolled back on its own. Ask Perplexity Computer "Did my Craft CMS title changes work?" and it answers from those verdicts.
New entries from research to finished draft, plus rewrites of the title, body and slug on ones already published.
Content goes into a plain text, CKEditor or Redactor field with a conventional handle, such as body or content, on your entry type. If an entry type has no such field, the body change comes to you instead of being forced somewhere it does not belong.
Matrix and Neo fields drop any block a write leaves out, so agents never write to them. Your page builder content cannot be wiped by an SEO edit.
Craft gives you total control over your content model, which means no two sites store SEO the same way. Agents do not assume: they check what each entry type accepts and write only there.
Every field, limit and safeguard is on the Craft CMS integration page.
Craft CMS
Craft 5 (any edition, including the free Solo edition) or Craft Pro 3.5 to 4.x, with the GraphQL API enabled, and a GraphQL token whose schema can read and save entries in the sections you want agents to work on.
Perplexity Computer
A Perplexity Pro or Max plan, which includes Computer, and a free SEOmatic account. On an organization plan, an admin must turn on Allow members to add custom connectors first; it is off by default.
Perplexity Computer works the same way on WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Ghost, Blogger, Wix, Squarespace, Framer, Drupal, BigCommerce, HubSpot CMS, Contentful, Strapi, Sanity, Next.js, Lovable, GitHub.
Can Perplexity Computer fix SEO on my Craft CMS site?
Yes, through SEOmatic. Perplexity Computer reads your Search Console data, finds the entries losing clicks and stages the fix, which SEOmatic writes to Craft CMS once you approve. The three setup steps are on this page.
What can Perplexity Computer change on Craft CMS?
SEOmatic works on your entries through Craft's GraphQL API: titles, descriptions and content first, and more where Craft CMS allows it. Every field and limit is listed on the Craft CMS integration page.
How do I know if a Craft CMS fix worked?
SEOmatic measures every change it ships against the page's own baseline and your site's trend, 14 days after a title change, 28 after a content refresh and 90 after a new page, and marks it verified, ineffective or regressed. Perplexity Computer can read those verdicts for you.
What do I need on the Perplexity Computer side?
A Perplexity Pro or Max plan, which includes Computer, and a free SEOmatic account. On an organization plan, an admin must turn on Allow members to add custom connectors first; it is off by default.
Will Perplexity Computer publish to Craft CMS without asking?
No. By default every change SEOmatic proposes waits for your approval before it touches your site, and your assistant is told never to approve on its own. Approved changes are stored with the page's previous state, so any edit to an existing page can be rolled back. If you later want low-risk fixes to go ahead on their own, you can turn that on in your autonomy settings; changes to your URLs or indexing, and new content, still wait for you.
Is it free?
Connecting is free with no card. Search Console reports, page checks and 30-page site audits are free, as often as you like; live market data uses free questions, 5 a month plus a one-time 10 when you connect Search Console. Staging and publishing fixes is part of paid plans, which start with a 14-Day Trial for $1, credited to your first payment.
