SEO tools & utilities
Paste a URL plus the subtopics you want the page to cover (3 to 15, one per line). We fetch the page, scan the body text for each subtopic, and classify each as Covered, Thin, or Absent based on mention count and surrounding paragraph context. The hero is the subtopic coverage grid: color-coded tiles showing exactly which subtopics need work.
Topical authority is the SEO concept that pages covering a topic comprehensively rank and get cited more than pages that touch a topic shallowly. The hard part is knowing what "comprehensive" means for YOUR topic: there's no universal subtopic list. Our tool inverts the problem: you tell us the subtopics you intend to cover, and we tell you which ones actually made it into the page body with enough context to count.
The detection is text-based and exact. For each subtopic you list, we (1) count case-insensitive whole-phrase matches in the page body, and (2) check whether at least one match is surrounded by 200+ characters of paragraph text (signals it's discussed, not just mentioned in a heading). Coverage verdicts: Covered (2+ mentions with paragraph context), Thin (1 mention, or mentions only in headings/short fragments), Absent (zero mentions anywhere in the body).
The headline output is the subtopic coverage grid: one tile per subtopic, color-coded by verdict, absent tiles surfaced first. Below the grid, a fix list groups gaps by severity (Absent first, then Thin) with a tactical action for each one ("Add 2-3 sentences explaining X" / "Expand the section about Y"). The overall coverage score rolls each subtopic up: covered = 1.0, thin = 0.5, absent = 0.0, normalized to 0-100.
The visual topic graph showing your entire content cluster is on the roadmap but requires a full-site crawl. This v1 ships the part of the value proposition we can deliver from a single URL audit: per-subtopic coverage you can ship a fix for today.
