What happens to my pages if I cancel?

They stay up. SEOmatic publishes into your own CMS, so the pages are ordinary posts on your site that belong to you the moment they go live. Cancelling stops new work being done, it does not remove or unpublish anything you already have.

Do I need a paid plan to export?

No. Export is not gated by plan and costs no credits. Anyone on the project with permission to view it can download the file. There is a fair-use rate limit of a couple of hundred exports an hour, which normal use never reaches.

What is actually inside the file?

One row per page, with a column for each field you set up, holding the final text after variables and AI prompts resolved. Alongside those you get each page's status, its publish date and its live URL. Per-page manual edits are not included.

Can I export only part of the set?

Yes. Filter the pages table by status first and the export follows that filter, so you can take only the published ones and leave drafts behind. You can also export a single page on its own from inside the page editor.

Can I move the file into another tool?

That is what the two formats are for. CSV opens in Excel, Google Sheets or Airtable and suits handing pages to a writer. JSON suits a developer importing into a platform SEOmatic does not connect to. Both are plain files with no lock on them.
