Today, I used SEOmatic for the first time.
It was user-friendly and efficiently generated 75 unique web pages using keywords and pre-written excerpts.
Total time cost for research & publishing was ≈ 3h (Instead of ≈12h)

SEO tools & utilities
Enter your WordPress URL and we generate a sitemap.xml via the REST API. Per-content-type priority and changefreq, plugin conflict warnings, noindex aware. Crawl fallback.
Our WordPress sitemap generator builds your sitemap.xml from your site's own WordPress REST API. Enter your site URL and the tool probes /wp-json/wp/v2 to confirm the REST endpoint is reachable, then fetches posts, pages, categories, tags, and authors (per the checkboxes you toggle) directly. Each item arrives with its canonical link and last-modified timestamp, so the emitted XML is structured per content type with the priority and changefreq you set in the form.
When REST is disabled or locked behind authentication (a meaningful slice of WordPress sites), we fall back to a regular BFS crawl of up to 200 pages, parse each fetched page for the <meta name="robots" content="noindex"> tag, and exclude any noindex URLs from the sitemap automatically. Either way, we also detect whether your site already runs Yoast SEO, Rank Math, or All in One SEO, because those plugins emit their own sitemap that may conflict with the one we generate.
Our tool surfaces what your stack already does, so you can:
